Slayers 2 Clans Tier List
Full bloodline ladder for launch week — consensus S and A bands, community rarity odds, and spin advice that treats rarity as drop rate, not power.
Your clan in Slayers 2 is no longer a flat surname buff. Ouw Productions rebuilt bloodlines into buffs (raw stats), perks (activatable skills), and passives (always-on trade-offs), with some clans also carrying a Mode. That is why two clans in the same rarity can feel nothing alike — and why a Rare technician can beat a flashy Mythic that does not match your kit.
This page ranks clans for the September 18, 2026 public launch window. Clan placement is the most settled of the three big lists on this wiki: independent post-launch rankings converge on the same S and A names. Pair this ladder with the Breathing Styles Tier List or Blood Demon Arts Tier List, then route the result through Slayer Builds once you know your path. Bank spins from Codes before you dump everything into a Supreme chase.
Consensus clan ladder (launch week)
Within each letter, names are not a strict 1–N order. Treat the band as the claim.
| Tier | Clans | Why they sit here |
|---|---|---|
| S | Kamado, Rengoku, Himejima, Uzui, Soyama, Iguro, Shabana | Cross-outlet top band. Kamado is the complete package; Rengoku leads raw offensive factor; Himejima / Uzui / Soyama bring premium defense and utility; Iguro is the movement outlier; Shabana amplifies teams. |
| A | Shinazugawa, Agatsuma, Douma, Tamayo, Urokodaki, Tomioka, Kocho, Sabito | Style specialists and strong second choices. Agatsuma feeds Thunder, Kocho feeds Insect poison, Tomioka / Urokodaki / Sabito cover Water routes, Shinazugawa covers Wind, Douma / Tamayo cover Demon-side defense and support. |
| B | Ubuyashiki, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru, plus Uncommon generalists (Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori) | Farm / niche tools and early-game Uncommons. Ubuyashiki leans XP and drop luck with trade-offs; Uncommons often share party-style bonuses rather than solo carry kits. |
| C | The Common roster (Yukimori, Kanzaki, Mori, Kurosaki, and the rest of the Common band) | Stats-only starters with no passives. Fine for the tutorial hour; reroll once you know which Breathing Style or BDA you are building. |
S-tier notes worth reading twice
- Kamado (Supreme): Best overall clan pick in launch-week consensus. Elite base stats, crowd control, sustain, damage conversion, and — for Demons — sunlight resistance plus strong regeneration tools. It carries early content even before a style is unlocked, which is why premium players stop spinning when they see it.
- Rengoku (Supreme): Highest published additional damage factor among the clans we tracked (+26% in one detailed post-launch write-up). Natural home for Flame-leaning Slayer builds and aggressive weapon pressure.
- Himejima, Uzui, Soyama (Supreme / Mythic band members in the S list): Defensive and utility packages that stay valuable when fights go long. Soyama in particular shows up in Demon conversations that care about Shockwave synergy.
- Iguro: Movement-speed outlier (+25% in the same launch coverage). Duelist identity — you feel it in chase and disengage, not just on a spreadsheet.
- Shabana (Legendary rarity, S power): Proof that rarity ≠ power. Team amplifier rather than a selfish solo god-roll; keep it if you play with a fixed squad.
A-tier specialists
Keep an A clan when it matches your style, even if a random S name would look better on paper:
- Agatsuma → Thunder routes
- Kocho → Insect / poison
- Shinazugawa → Wind
- Tomioka, Urokodaki, Sabito → Water and katana fundamentals (Urokodaki is the classic Rare that punches above its drop rate)
- Douma, Tamayo → Demon defense and support identities
Rarity odds (community consensus)
These percentages are community-reported rarity odds from matching post-launch tables (not a pasted developer data dump). Treat them as the best shared reading during launch week; a balance patch can retune passives long before it retunes the spin table.
| Rarity | Odds | Example clans in that band |
|---|---|---|
| Supreme | 0.1% | Kamado, Rengoku, Uzui, Soyama |
| Mythic | 0.9% | Himejima, Iguro, Shinazugawa, Agatsuma, Douma, Tamayo |
| Legendary | 4% | Shabana, Tomioka, Kocho, Ubuyashiki |
| Rare | 12% | Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru |
| Uncommon | 23% | Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori |
| Common | 60% | Yukimori, Kanzaki, Mori, Kurosaki, Hozumi, and the wider Common list |
Important: the percentage is for the rarity band, not a guarantee of one named clan inside that band. A specific Supreme is rarer than the 0.1% headline because the band is shared.
Rarity is not power (Urokodaki rule)
Urokodaki is the teaching example. It sits in Rare (12%) on the odds table and in A on the power ladder because Water players actually use the kit. Shabana sits in Legendary odds and S power as a team piece. Common clans can clear the early game on stats alone, then become spin fodder the moment you lock a Breathing Style. If you only chase Supreme names, you will ignore keepers that already solve your build.
Spin advice for launch week
- Redeem codes first and bank rolls. Launch gifts are how free-to-play accounts afford a second opinion.
- Decide your combat path before you hard-pity a surname. A Thunder player should value Agatsuma differently than a Dream Manipulation Demon values Douma.
- Read the perk and passive text, not just the rarity gem. Passives can include trade-offs; Modes change how the clan plays in longer fights.
- Keep a matching A specialist if it boosts the style you already unlocked. Rerolling a perfect Kocho because it is “only A” is how people waste weeks.
- Commons and dead Uncommons are practice rolls. Use them to learn combat, then spend serious spins once Getting Started objectives are done.
- Expect patch notes. Clan passives are among the most patch-sensitive systems in Slayers 2. Re-check this page after major balance drops instead of screenshotting one YouTube thumbnail forever.
Kamado strengths (why it anchors S)
Across launch-week write-ups, Kamado keeps showing the same pattern: high health and stamina lines, extra damage factor, crowd-control and guard tools, sustain, and Demon-relevant sunlight resistance / regen. That mix is why lists call it the most complete clan rather than the single highest DPS surname. If you roll Kamado early, stop spinning and invest the time into a Breathing Style or Blood Demon Art instead — the clan already won the bloodline lottery.
How to finish the build
- Slayer path: lock a style on the Breathing Styles Tier List, then flesh it out in Slayer Builds.
- Demon path: lock an art on the Blood Demon Arts Tier List, then match weapons and progression on the Demon build pages.
- Hub context: return to the Tier List Hub whenever outlets start disagreeing again after a patch.
Clans are the foundation, not the finish line. A Supreme name with the wrong style still loses to a Rare name that was built on purpose.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best clan in Slayers 2 right now?
Kamado is the consensus best overall clan in launch-week rankings: complete stats, control, sustain, and strong Demon-side sunlight tools. Rengoku is the top raw-damage alternative for Flame-leaning play.
What are the Slayers 2 clan rarity odds?
Community consensus tables quote Supreme 0.1%, Mythic 0.9%, Legendary 4%, Rare 12%, Uncommon 23%, and Common 60%. Those are rarity-band odds, not per-clan guarantees.
Should I reroll a Rare clan like Urokodaki?
Not automatically. Urokodaki is the clearest rarity≠power example: Rare odds, A-tier value for Water builds. Reroll Commons freely; keep specialists that match your style.
Which clans are S tier in Slayers 2?
Launch-week consensus S band: Kamado, Rengoku, Himejima, Uzui, Soyama, Iguro, and Shabana. A band covers Shinazugawa, Agatsuma, Douma, Tamayo, Urokodaki, Tomioka, Kocho, and Sabito.
